Крис Карпентер чуть ранее в этом году поменял свое расположение в игре и команде. Теперь же он, после ухода из команды St. Louis Cardinals, также решил поменять и место жительства, в связи с чем его великолепный особняк был недавно выставлен на продажу.

Records show that Carpenter purchased the 10,800-square-foot mansion in March 2007, shortly after signing a five-year contract extension worth $63.5 million. Lined in walnut and mahogany flooring and custom millwork, the open floor plan has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen and a wood-paneled office.
Designed for entertaining, a lower level features a billiards room, a golf simulator, a 1,000-bottle wine cellar and a custom wet bar. Leading through a custom glass wall system, the walk-out opens onto a lower terrace level with a pool. An outdoor kitchen, covered lanai and a full gym can also be found on the one-acre property.
Carpenter, 39, recorded 95 of his 144 career victories in a Cardinals uniform and holds the team record for most postseason wins with 10. He missed significant time in 2012 due to Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, an injury that kept him out for the 2013 season. Carpenter announced his retirement from baseball at a press conference in November and has since joined the Cardinals’ front office.
