Звезде спортивной команды New York Yankees Алфонсо Сориано пришлось выложить почти три миллиона долларов наличными за особняк, расположенный во флоридском городке Тампа. Как выяснили дотошные шурналисты, точная цена составила 2,7 миллиона долларов.
Таким образом, Брюс Аллен, генеральный директор спортивной команды Tampa Bay Buccaneers, стал бывшим владельцен этого роскошного дома. Также стоит отметить, что Брюс Аллен с мая прошлого года является президентом и генеральным менеджером команды Washington Redskins.
The 7,800-square-foot home, built in 2000, is situated on an acre of land in Avila Golf and Country Club. It has a four-car garage, a pool deck with gazebos, a waterfall and a hot tub. For golf aficionados, there is a putting green with a sand trap.
Inside, the mansion is very spacious and accommodating, with seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a large wine room, a billiards room and a library. In the kitchen, the appliances are new.
The property is about 30 minutes from Tampa Bay.
Born in the Dominican Republic, Alfonso Soriano currently is a left fielder for the New York Yankees. He is a seven-time All-Star and won the MLB All-Star Game Most Valuable Player in 2004. Soriano has also played for the Washington Nationals and the Chicago Cubs. He was the first major-league player to ever record 40 home runs, 40 stolen bases and 40 doubles in the same season (2006 with the Washington Nationals).The seller of the home, Bruce Allen, is the son of legendary Washington Redskins and Los Angeles Rams head coach George Allen—a 2002 inductee into the NFL Hall of Fame.
