Всего лишь за месяц очередная сладкая парочка из Голливуда, Картер Устерхаус и Эми Смарт, расстались со своим домом в калифорнийском городке Хермоза Бич. Какова же цена? Всего лишь один миллион долларов.
Однако, несмотря на то, что и миллион долларов - это неплохо, все же заявленная ранее запрашиваемая цена составляла полтора миллиона долларов. Тем не менее влюбленные довольно быстро разобрались в хитросплетениях рынка недвижимости, поняли, что времня -это деньги, и понизили цену до одного миллиона, в результате чего сумели быстро продать дом.

In less than a month, Hollywood sweethearts Carter Oosterhouse and Amy Smart sold their Hermosa Beach, CA, townhouse. The final sale price? A cool $1,000,000 even.
Though that is less than the original amount asked—when it first went on the market, it was priced at $1,500,000—the two clearly recognize when it comes to real estate, time is money, so they took the deal and moved on fast.
The house—which Oosterhouse bought before he and Smart married in 2011—is a true beach house. There’s no fluff, no geegaws, no fancy. This is the kind of place where you could walk in, fresh off the beach, and not be afraid to get a little sand on the floor.
And we think that’s cool: it’s a house that just oozes relaxation. There’s no worry, no pretense, no fuss.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom townhouse has a great view of the sapphire-blue Pacific Ocean, which is just a short walk from the front door. It’s got access to all of the Hermosa Beach cool, which is substantial—its restaurants, clubs, and all of its celebrity action.
And it has a two-car garage. We cannot stress how awesome that is.
Why is that such a big deal?
Hermosa Beach, in addition to being a laid-back celebrity playground, is also notorious for being a parking-unfriendly town. Street parking is more than a little hard to come by, so having a garage of your own is a huge asset.
Whoever the lucky new owners are, we can’t imagine they’ll be anything less than ecstatically happy with their new seaside digs—we’re sure, too, that listing agents Leslie Ikerd & Pat de Wees are pretty pleased with the deal, too.
As for Carter Oosterhouse and Amy Smart, they’ve both got plenty to keep them busy: he’s got his hands full with Carter’s Kids, a not-for-profit group that builds playgrounds in low-income areas, and she’s getting ready for the release of the films Run For Your Life and Zoey To The Max, both of which are set to hit the big screen later this year.
